Missionary Melodie Joice

Tanzania is a country of almost 49 million people. About one third is Christian, one third is Muslim and one third is made up of indigenous beliefs.  Only 10% of christians are evangelical. Witchcraft is a big problem in Tanzania. Zanzibar, which is located in Tanzania, is 99% Muslim.  Almost 45% of the population in Tanzania is under the age of 14. There is still a great harvest to be reached in Tanzania. I am  working with nationals to reach the children in Tanzania for Christ. The harvest is truly plenteous, but the laborers are few. There are not a lot of ministries in Africa that focus on reaching children for Christ. It’s great to meet their physical needs, but we must meet their spiritual needs as well. We must tell them about Jesus.
